About

Hi, I'm Lizzie.

My career would never make sense on a ladder, but I've come to see that as my advantage. The common thread? Improving systems so individuals can perform at their highest level.

After receiving a master's in Early Childhood Education from Columbia University, I taught for six years in some of New York City's most underserved neighborhoods. When a child was struggling, I learned to dissect the environment, not the child. After teaching, I spent the next decade building those systems at scale.

At General Assembly, I oversaw instruction at our flagship campus, training facilitators in adult learning theory, and then ran operations across 15 global campuses as we scaled that model. At Shopify, I spent four years overseeing onboarding for every technical hire before building our manager development program, which looked nothing like traditional training: role-playing where interruptions were encouraged, direct feedback, and deliberately uncomfortable moments. Most recently, as VP of HR at MrBeast, I scaled internal communications and company town halls, and led the end-to-end rollout of a performance review system and process.

Arrow is where that work lives now. I partner with growing companies on onboarding, up-skilling, and HR systems that hold up as they scale. Through Arrow at Home, I teach individuals to bring the same kind of systems into their own lives, an offering that started with a group of friends but grew because people kept asking for more.
